Born 1958 Glasgow, Scotland. John is a visual artist living in Moray in the North of Scotland, originally from Glasgow . John  broader sense. He was a mature  student  at Moray School of Art where he achieved  a BA

(Hons) in Fine Art. where he had earlier picked up a Diploma in Art & Design. (University of The Arts London. He has been exhibiting and selling work from the the summer of 2017

The artist is a member of LVII an independent photography collective,  The Scottish Society of Artists  and the Scottish Artists Union. He is a director of  FLOW Photofest.   John currently has a studio in Inverness  courtesy of Outer Spaces
